Course Description

The Certificate III in Health Services Assistance is for students who aspire to work in an auxiliary role to health profession staff in the care of clients. Health services assistance involves working in direct client contact under supervision. When you complete the Certificate III in Health Services Assistance, you will be able to work in health care facilities including hospitals and residential facilities.

Students have to complete a minimum 80 hours placement (volunteer work). Placement will be organised after the completion of all in-class sessions and workbook assessments. Every student will be assessed before starting their placement. Practical placement is organised by New Futures Training.
