New courses in 2018

In addition to the already existing courses offered by New Futures Training these are three new nationally recognised vocational qualifications which are now part of our scope of registration and we will be shortly opening enrolments for them:


1. CHC30213 - Certificate III in Education Support
2. CHC62015 - Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management
3. MST30116 - Certificate III in Clothing and Textile Production

Upon graduation, you’ll be qualified to work as a teacher aide, designing and helping to facilitate educational programs that will guide children’s learning and development. 
This course will qualify you for this role in a range of classroom settings, including public and independent schools and community education services. This includes duties such as providing individual student support in accordance with a child’s learning plan, helping young people to improve literacy and numeracy skills, contribute to the management of a classroom and facilitate learning for students with additional needs.

This qualification can lead you to job roles which can include: 
  • Primary or Secondary School Qualified Education Support Worker 
  • Teacher's Aid
  • Early  Childhood Education Assistant 
  • Outside School Hours Assistant or  Preschool Assistant

This qualification will help you develop skills required to put you at the forefront of the community industry. Learn how to manage risk, finances, human resources, occupational health and safety processes, change and innovation. This may include management of a specific programs or project, or broader management of a community-based organisation, early childhood education service, not-for-profit organisation or community centre.


This qualification can lead you to job roles which can include:

If you are just starting out or would like to refresh your sewing skills, or learn advanced sewing techniques, then this qualification will suit you perfectly.

You will learn about fabric identification, fabric cutting, pattern-making techniques, sewing techniques, laying-up, professional finishing and alterations, all of which are important skills in this once more growing industry sector.

Training and assessment will be located in the fully equipped Sewing Studio ‘Second Stitch’.  This space is suitable for the delivery and assessment of up to 10 students, therefore enrolment places are limited.

  • Dressmaker 
  • Pattern maker/Technician 
  • Sample hand machinist 
  • Fashion Designer
