VICSEG provides vocational training and pathways to employment within childcare and community services industries. Our programs aim to reduce poverty and build capacity within migrant and refugee communities by assisting and supporting jobless families to gain the necessary skills and confidence to participate in the workforce.

New Opportunities in Family Day Care

New Futures Family Day Care provides home based childcare for children from birth to 12 years of age. It is flexible, small group care offering children individual attention in a safe family environment.  Qualified Child Care Educators operate from their own homes and are self-employed. Our service embraces diversity which is reflected in the cultural background and different languages of the staff and educators in the Team. We are committed to offering a service that recognises and values the cultural heritage of every child and family as well as the people who make up our service. New Futures Family Day Care seeks to register professional Child Care Educators who are committed to the inclusion of culturally diverse children. Support for our Educators includes:

  • Regular home safety and educational program visits
  • Business and administrative support, resources and information
  • Marketing and Communication assistance
  • Ongoing professional development
  • Resources and information about designing children’s learning programs
  • Comprehensive  orientation program and training package for Educators
