COVID-19 VICSEG New Futures Operations

In line with advice from the state and federal governments and health experts, VICSEG New Futures has implemented some changes in our service delivery and working arrangements which are consistent with social distancing practices.

We understand that this is an unprecedented worldwide event and the uncertainty and stress that this imposes, is being felt by all of us in our workplaces, at home, and in the community.

I would like to reassure you that we will continue to deliver some of the services you need during the COVID-19 crisis. However, the way we do this will change as we all come to terms with the new challenges COVID-19 brings to our interactions.

VICSEG New Futures’ operations will pause from the 24th of March to the 14th of April in areas that involve direct face-to-face interaction with people.

We have been working to develop a COVID-19 service continuity plan to ensure we continue to respond to community needs and provide support and information over the coming weeks and months.  The measures that we have taken to this effect are listed  below:
New Futures Training (RTO 21203) – All campuses and offices will remain closed for three weeks from 24th of March to 14th of April
Our trainers will continue to provide support to current students via phone and email services.
All new course enquires will be accepted online, by filling the online Expression of Interest form (here
Our Community Programs staff will be in touch with families via phone and video services and our Program Coordinators and Managers will continue to liaise with all our stakeholders online
New Futures Early Learning Centres, will remain closed during the three week period
New Futures Family Day Care, will continue to support existing educators and families via phone and email
Second Stitch studio will remain closed for three weeks from the 24th of March to the 14th of April. You can still follow them on Facebook & Instagram

We have made this decision with the health and safety of our staff, our students, our community program participants, and the wider community first and foremost in our minds. Although we have announced this pause in our operation, we are still around, so please do not hesitate to contact us if we can help in any way.

We will continue to post updates and information regarding any changes to the mode of our training delivery and community programs on our social media platforms and websites.

Stay safe and stay connected.

Thank you,

Elias Tsigaras
